We beat MBA 74-36..We led 32-17 at the end of the first half as MBA played an inspired 1st half. We outscored MBA 52-19 in the second half led by Corie West who had 11points in the half including 3 three pointers. West finished with 17 points and Katie Hacker had 16 for the game.
We then defeated Bedord Swoosh 74-41 as we got out to a quick start and led 43-22 at half. Hacker led the way with 16 points followed by West and Kristen Dockery both with 12 points. Hillary Wenning had 11 points and Shelby Ross had 10 steals.
In the Final Four Game against Ohio Valley Storm, Ohio Valley started quickly leading 8-0 but we outscored them 45-28 the rest of the half to lead by 9 at the intermission 45-36. Corie West had 24 points, 7 steals, and 7 assists for the game to lead the way..Center Grove's Alexis Ellis had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Katie Hacker had 14 points and 13 rebounds as we won 75-59. The final winning margin of 16 points was the closest game the 12U's have had at the State Finals in 3 years.
In the Championship game against the Mohr Magic Rebels, Corie West again led the scoring parade with 16 points. Sarah Bassler had 15 points and Hillary Wenning contributed 10 points.
For the State Finals tournament...Finest averaged 72 ppg and gave up 41ppg defensively.
